Blackjack is one of the most popular casino table games today. It’s fun to play, but the odds are somewhat to the house’s advantage. Unlike games like craps, roulette, and slots, a blackjack player can reduce his/her probability of winning if they know the right strategies.

However, even if the house has a slight advantage, the sum of all of the individual probabilities is still in favor of the house. Therefore, I would say that the house still has about a 10% advantage.

While you can, if you like, make your own “systems” (systems that were devised by yourself and others over the years), generally, when you take away the idea of mathematics and the NORMALHOW autopilot thinking that the adding machine does the same thing, you need a few things. Let’s look at some of those TOs and what they mean.

We’ll start with the WHYs ( Claiming the Winning Strategies and Markets. Let’s look at the basics of these. They are as follows:

Why?

To win at blackjack, you must be able to predict, and in the case of blackjack, exactly, when the deck will be rich in 10s and A’s. That’s the big secret – one can beat the house with a report card, but they can’t do so without knowing the deck rich in 10s and A’s.

In blackjack, if you are a 10 or A card player, the odds favor the dealer by 11%. Yes, the dealer acts last, but the important word here is “acts,” not “hand,” and in this case, the word “hand” refers to the accumulated value of the cards.

A card counting system, or “counting,” is the process by which a player can determine, based on the cards’ values, the more likely it is that the next card will be higher than any of the previous cards.

Speaking of totals, decks of playing cards have four, six, and eight total values. These are the most common sizes for decks.

How do you keep track of your hand total?

Hand total = the total of all your cards

The hand total is arrived at by adding the values of the cards to the total. If you remember, the total is arrived at by dividing the card count by the number of cards.

So, for example, if you have cards total of 15, the total is 5, and if you have a 10, you have a 20 and a hand total of 5. Remember, you have 15 more cards, and you are still in the hand, so you have 15 total.

Don’t forget!

When playing blackjack, there are very few decisions you will make, especially in the early stages.

You will either see or hear the dealer’s cards or will see or hear the player’s cards. You have NO decision to make other than to see or hear the dealer’s cards.

The whole object of the game is to beat the dealer. Don’t bust (as the expression goes anyway).

You are not playing against any other players at the table.

The game regions are clearly defined and numbered.

The game is clearly outlined in a tournament structure.

There are clearly defined pre-bleeding stages.

The game clearly involves weekly or monthly blind limits.

The game clearly has stages favorable to the colluders or the players.

When you commit to memory of the essential patterns of the game, you will dramatically increase your chances of winning!

A game this tough can only be won by one who understands the essentials of the game on a moment-to-moment basis.

You, on your own, can’t do the above.

You need to understand the stats, the positions of the cards, and the % EV of the hands.

The Devise Winning Strategy

All of the poker programs on the market nowadays can girls your game. However, they hardly ever deliver the goods. If you really want to win, then you need to develop your skills and start looking for a winning strategy.

Here are some of the basic resources to be followed to win at blackjack:

  • Learn the basic rules of the game. Such as the rules for 17, 21, 13, 33, etc.
  • Get a gambling system to teach you specific rules for blackjack.
  • There are many books available in the market which teach you how to count cards. If you are interested in a particular area, search for books by the author. They have books dedicated solely to blackjack.
  • Sneak a peek at the pack of cards before you deal. Some cards have a higher casino value than others. Examine the cards, and uphill card counting comes into play.
